Mission
The Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club (IWMC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance and support to our communities, departments, families, and members.
The IWMC Boise Chapter membership contributes much of its free time toward the efforts of raising money to support the families of Fallen Police Officers and/or Firefighters.
Additionally, we support our Veterans of the military, regardless of the branch they served, as they have sacrificed much, some all, for us all to have our cherished FREEDOMS.
History
The Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club (IWMC) began as the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club (WPMC) in 1987. Police officers who owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles and loved to ride with like-minded people in the San Jose, California area offered membership to active and retired law enforcement officers and firefighters. The club was renamed “Iron Warriors MC” to preserve the original mission and traditions after infighting threatened to dismantle the growing WPMC.
The Iron Warriors MC continues the tradition of providing opportunities for active and retired law enforcement officers and firefighters, who own and ride V-twin motorcycles made by American-owned companies, to join together in brotherhood and camaraderie.
Support Groups
The Iron Warriors MC includes support groups that help the club manage events, organize rides, and reach out to the community.
Order of the Garter
The Order of the Garter is composed of IWMC members’ wives and significant others who want to show their support with colors associated with the Iron Warriors MC.
We are proud to have our wives and significant others ride with us and appreciate the many projects they take on to support the club.
Brathair
Brathair is comprised of “civilians” and other individuals who do not meet the membership requirements of the Iron Warriors, but support the mission, vision, and values of the club.
Brathair is a Gaelic word meaning “brother.” They share a passion for service, brotherhood, and riding. The patch design includes colors that represent the emblems of Knighthood with a shield containing the American flag, and the colors represent fire and police. Together, the colors and emblems symbolize the purity and sacred pledge of each member to serve their nation, their fellow man, and the Iron Warriors MC brotherhood.
